FROM POTENCY TO ACT. FROM IDEA TO ACTION: BODY IN DEFINITION
ABSTRACT
This article attempts to show that the dancing body configures an action
that as a result of its own thinking. Some beliefs and habits of action
present within the relations between the inner and the outer sides can be
found on the mediations understood as organization. Those relations make
possible the occurrences of conduct changes conveyed by that body in dance,
so that the performing, artistic making is organized from the experiences
and observations of our Dasein condition. The state before the act of a
dancing body is a state of potency, a sort of invisibility. Acting in performativity
is possible to make visible the diversity of body speeches and actions,
which question the existence of a given context, and so getting open to
new context offerings. In the performativity environment, the artistic making
is an intelligent body action, it is a signified on its own, for the movement
is an act of the body and introduces itself as a whole. The body when dancing
conveys a commitment that there is in the co-relation between ideality and
conduct. The sense built by the set of actions returns as generality. So
that the visible, which appears as a performative movement, is the thinking
of that body.
